Hello one more time, thanks for you help. I just want to clarify that we try to use only <br> instead of <br />. One time we even eliminated those slash characters using bot. It's just a redundant code. Regards, --Wolverène (Diskussioun) 01:57, 22. Abr. 2018 (UTC)
- Dear Wolverène. Beg me pardon but this is quite usual in every Wiki I have seen. Missing the closing slash might cause a syntax error. But if it is common here I won't correct it any more. Regards, viele Grüße -- MovieFex (Diskussioun) 02:13, 22. Abr. 2018 (UTC)
- I don't mind if unusual. However some people believe that exactly "/" causes a syntax error. [1] . I never insist. --Wolverène (Diskussioun) 02:26, 22. Abr. 2018 (UTC)
- Wolverène: I have seen this and I thought this was an error, a typical bot-edit. But I don't care, if you think this is wrong I leave it. -- MovieFex (Diskussioun) 02:37, 22. Abr. 2018 (UTC) PS: Have you seen the version before? Bot fight. ;)-- MovieFex (Diskussioun) 02:44, 22. Abr. 2018 (UTC)
- @Wolverène: See Help:Formatting/lb#Paragraphs. So it seems using the slash is ok. -- MovieFex (Diskussioun) 09:31, 22. Abr. 2018 (UTC)
- @ MovieFex
- The <br> tag inserts a single line break.
- The <br> tag is an empty tag which means that it has no end tag.
- @Wolverène: See Help:Formatting/lb#Paragraphs. So it seems using the slash is ok. -- MovieFex (Diskussioun) 09:31, 22. Abr. 2018 (UTC)

- For this tag there are no differences between HTML 4.01 and HTML5
- However in XHTML the <br> tag must be properly closed, like this: <br />
- All missplaced and old unusefull tags like <br /> and others are shown in Lint errors. Lb:Wiki has been cleaned up and so please don't add new errors.
- I hope this will close this discussion --Les Meloures (Diskussioun) 10:01, 22. Abr. 2018 (UTC)
