Domaine public or Fair use?

Sorry about the English.

The template puts images in Kategorie:Domaine-Public-Bild. If the image is PD I suggest that it is written within the template - just like in Schabloun:Wopen-PD-PL.

However, I think it would be better if the template cleary said why it is PD. Is it because of law or because the it is ineligible for copyright or is is PD-old?

As an example of a file with this template Fichier:PalermoWopen.png comes from it:File:Palermo-Stemma uff.png where the licese puts the image in it:Categoria:Immagini fairuse-stemmi so I doubt that it it really is PD.

If it is not PD but more like Schabloun:Bild-FU then the category should be corrected and it should be clear in the template that it is Fair use. --MGA73 11:57, 2. Sep. 2010 (UTC)
